What is A 5-Point Laser Level?

There are many different types of laser levels available in today’s market. Some modern laser level have multiple receivers while others only have one.
How To Use A 5 Point Laser Level
- To begin operating, first, make sure all batteries are charged.
- Next, place the transmitter at the top left corner of the base plate.
- Then move the receiver down until its centerline touches the bottom edge of the base plate.
- Finally, rotate the receiver counterclockwise so that the white dot lines up with the green arrow.
- Once this alignment occurs, press the power button located near the front right side of the receiver.
- You should hear a beep sound indicating that the system is ready to work.
To start working with the laser level:
- Position yourself directly under the transmitter.
- Place the tip of the receiver against the surface being measured.
- Now slowly turn the handle clockwise until the indicator lights stop flashing.
- If there is no indication of accuracy, try turning the handle slightly more.
- Repeat these steps until you reach 90 degrees from the starting position.
At this point, the measurement can be recorded by pressing the record button located next to the power switch. After recording the measurements, remove the receiver from the level surface being measured. Turn off the power switch and store them away.
Five-Point Self-Leveler Components
These devices consist of four components:

4) carrying case.
- First, attach the receiver to the underside of the baseplate.
- Next, align the bubble over the desired spot.
- Then, adjust the bubble's elevation until the bubble stops moving.
- Finally, slide the bubble into the carrying case.
Most transmitters measure 0.5 inches. However, some may vary depending on their model.
Some receivers are designed to fit onto flat surfaces; however, they must be placed perpendicular to the surface being measured. Other receivers require a slight tilt.
Many bubbles are made out of plastic. Others are metal. Most manufacturers recommend using a bubble that has been tested for safety purposes.

How to Use Laser Levels

- Turn the power switch on and then press the “Start/Stop” button.
- Next, move the bubble up and down until the light flashes. When the light turns solid again, the bubble is at its highest point.
- Repeat this process until the bubble reaches 90 degrees from the lowest point.
- At this point, the reading can be saved by pushing the record button.
- Finally, remove the receiver from its mounting location and put everything back inside the carrying case.
- Press the start/stop button once before turning on the power switch.
- Then, turn the power switch on and wait about 30 seconds.
- Once the time elapses, begin moving the bubble up and down.
- As soon as the light begins flashing, stop moving the bubble.
- Continue doing so until the light goes solid again. That means the bubble reached 90 degrees from the lowest position.
- Record the readings with the push of a button.
- Remove the receiver from its mounting spot and store it away.
