Bosch circular saw blade size chart: UK model reference

Source-checkedSource check: 4 October 2026

Two Bosch 165 mm blade sizes compared: one has a 20 mm bore, the other a 30 mm bore.
Source-backed reference diagram. It does not establish tool or blade compatibility.

Bosch Professional UK's product listings, checked on 4 October 2026, show 165 mm aluminium blades with either a 20 mm or 30 mm bore. The same range has 190 mm blades with both bore sizes. Match your saw's specified diameter and bore first. Then check the blade's saw type, material, thickness, speed rating and your exact saw manual before fitting it.

Which blade sizes do these Bosch circular saw models specify?

These three UK listings identify the saw variant and its supplied wood blade. Check the part number on your saw because a model name can have multiple packages.

Can two 165 mm blades have different bores?

Yes. Bosch's EXPERT Aluminium range lists 2608644095 as 165 × 20 mm and 2608644096 as 165 × 30 mm. It also lists 2608644101 as 190 × 20 mm and 2608644102 as 190 × 30 mm. The table records catalogue specifications only. It does not approve these aluminium blades for any saw in the preceding table.

Bosch markets this particular EXPERT Aluminium range for corded handheld circular saws and plunge saws. The two GKS 18V models above are cordless wood saws. Bosch's cited product pages do not establish a fit between any of these four aluminium blades and any of the three saws. Bosch EXPERT Aluminium range.

How should I check a replacement blade before fitting it?

  1. Find the exact saw model and part number on the tool. Read its current manual for the permitted blade diameter, bore shape, material and any blade thickness requirement.
  2. Check the replacement blade's full SKU. Compare its diameter, bore and mounting features with the manual and mounting hardware. Bosch's GKS 18V-57-2 manual warns that blades with the wrong arbour hole size or shape can run off centre.
  3. Check that the blade maker specifies the blade for your saw type and material. A wood blade supplied with a saw does not establish permission to cut aluminium with that saw.
  4. Check that the blade's permitted maximum speed is higher than the saw's no-load speed. Check cutting width and body thickness against the saw manual. Do not treat a speed or dimension match as final approval.
  5. Check any reduction ring against both the blade and saw instructions. Bosch sells reduction rings, but that range does not establish permission for a ring on every saw.

After confirming a permitted blade, compare saw features and cutting depth in the beginner's circular saw guide.

What method produced this chart?

The chart transcribes three saw variants and four blade SKUs from Bosch Professional UK product pages checked on 4 October 2026. Each row was checked against its named source, then reviewed a second time against the Bosch product detail sections before this draft was handed over. The saw rows use the variant's stated diameter, bore and supplied blade. The blade rows use the catalogue's stated diameter, bore, cutting width, body thickness, tooth count and maximum rpm. The downloadable CSV gives every row's source URL and evidence scope. The source pages have no stated publication date, so 4 October 2026 is a check date rather than a product release date. The source map accompanying the draft records the exact evidence passages.

What are the limits of this chart?

The chart covers three Bosch UK saw variants and four Bosch aluminium blade SKUs. It is not a catalogue of all Bosch saws or blades. The saw rows show blades included with specific packages. The aluminium rows are separate catalogue examples and have no approved saw pairing here. Product specifications and packaging can change. A supplied blade is evidence of package contents, not a blanket approval for other variants or future stock. The blade catalogue rows are dimension examples only. Consult the current manual for your exact saw and the blade maker's current instructions before use.

Frequently asked questions

Is a 165 mm blade enough information to choose a replacement?

No. Bosch lists both 20 mm and 30 mm bores at 165 mm diameter in the named EXPERT Aluminium range. Check the exact saw and blade instructions as well as the material and saw type.

What if a blade's bore differs from my saw's bore?

Check the manual for your exact saw and the blade's instructions. Bosch sells reduction rings in several dimensions, but the ring size alone does not establish permission to use it with a particular saw and blade.

Is cutting width the same as blade body thickness?

No. Bosch lists these as separate figures. Its named EXPERT Aluminium examples have a 2.6 mm cutting width and 1.6 mm body thickness.

Does a 190 × 30 mm aluminium blade fit the GKS 190?

Bosch's cited pages do not confirm that pairing. The matching nominal diameter and bore are insufficient. Check the saw manual and obtain model-specific manufacturer guidance.
